The Inner Promise

I promised myself beauty & self love. I gave myself an extra 20 mins in bed by paying for the toll road. Then I was off to a new day.

The Heat!

We are having a hat wave in Southern California and I was too sweaty to stay in bed any longer. I know many in the country are in flooded areas and they would gladly trade for a little of this heat, we all gotta live where we are, no?

Anyway, I wanted to sleep in more after staying up late at the Can't Stop the Serenity screening for Equality now (great movie, great event ... Cantstoptheserenity.com) but too damn hot.

Now happy I am up ... sitting with my sister sharing the morning and watching one hamster run like crazy. Plans for the day: watch some shows on the DVR, maybe while playing WOW with sis and eating the summer fruit in the fridge with an early evening sojourn to my one person spa.

Oh Boy ... lots of good reasons I got up today. See you during the work week!

... For the self promise

This morning my boss is still oon jury duty. Most likely it will be another 18 hour day. I promised myseld this break with a salad & a good book.
Outta bed I dragged & now will gitter done. :-D
