I got up today for COMIC CON!! Woohoo

It has been over ten years since I have been able to attend a science fiction convention, including staying overnight. I am here in San Diego at Comic Con enjoying myself tremendously. Even the fact that I am doing this solo is a pleasure.

I arrived late on Thursday, learned how to get there using public transportation, and spent all day today enjoying movie panels, meeting minor and major celebrities and looking at over 500 exhibitors. Sheesh, I should be exhausted. I am energized and looking forward to another long and happy day at the convention tomorrow.

Disney fun

I got up today with happily exercised legs. We were at Disney's California Adventure with my nephew & his wife yesterday. Perfect weather, lots of fun.
Back to work today which is its own type of pleasure.

California beauty

every morning on my drive to work, I am lucky enough to gawk at the beauty all around me. That gets me up and going ...

It's a Holiday ... I got up LATE!

Happy 4th of July. I got up late, last night I went to bed early. Wednesday night, my ex made me cry yet once again. I only slept 3 hours ... so last night was quite healing and needed.

This morning what woke me up was the sound of my hamsters downstairs and the reality that they needed some fresh greens. Tiptoed downstairs so I wouldn't wake up my little old doxie, Doodles. (He is sleeping so peacefully ... snapped this shot with phone/camera.)

I flung some fresh greens in their cage, made a cup of coffee and spent two hours in bed reading a book. Woohoo. What luxury.

Today I will hang with sis, go to a friends house for pizza and stupid movies for a few hours, then back to hang with sis.
