I Got Up Today Because I Have Right Livelihood

I am a very lucky individual. Most days of the week, I am looking forward to going to my job. I am a vocational teacher and my adult students and I have lots of fun. I will admit that, sometimes like any other job, I wish I could take the day off. But I don't do that. I like to be an example to my students who are working hard to get a new career. How could I expect them to be present and on time if I am not.

This morning we were preparing for a test. Sounds boring, no? Well, not in my class. We play silly games and I give away super valuable prizes like "happy meal toys" or goofy stickers. The laughter and friendly competition made getting up very worthwhile. Today that was special because I had to hit the snooze alarm 4 times before I really came to life.
